Hangover 2!!

Yes I am talking about the movie and not another night of too much tequila...
Seriously though, I haven't had a night like that in years...
...Back to this amazing movie.
I heard reviews that it was too much like the originally.
Or that it simply just wasn't as good.
I have to differ on this one.
It was hysterical!
The "Wolf Pack" was better than ever.
They did an amazing job at tying in some of the original jokes.
Not to mention that the cast is phenomenal!
I definitely recommend it.

Stress, stress, stress, stress, stress...I don't like it.

I feel like I may have a meltdown.
My ex and I are headed to court at the end of this month yet again for custody issues.
I want to move, he doesn't want me to. So the fun begins.
This is going to be one hell of a month waiting it out.
I have to deal with a lawyer again....ugh. My last experience was not good at all.
Hopefully this one will be better.
Needless to say I won't be going with the first so it should be a lot better!
I will keep you update.

Four more months until the love of my life is two!

Yes, I agree:
  • Four months is far away.
  • I am crazy for already planning.
  • A two year old doesn't even know what a birthday is let alone a birthday party.
But I can't help myself!
I have already begun the planning. I have the theme already set. Now with the move (or possible move: see earlier post) I don't even know where I am going to hold this party.
Yet I am ok with that part.
So the idea as of now is:

Milk and cookies theme!

I have gotten some phenomenal ideas from other blogs that I will post soon to give recognition for their awesome work. Over the next few months I will post my ideas, pictures, etc.
I cannot wait.
I have a little too much fun with birthday parties.

Oh those weekends that you don't want to end...wait...that is every weekend.

I drove to visit my man over the weekend.
Well, it was to meet up with the person holding my job for me (well I sure hope they hold it).
While I was there my love took me out to an awesome dinner at Austin's steak house. We then went to see Pirate of the Caribbean in 3D. I let him choose the movie since I saw Fast Five and Thor without him.
(Sorry babe)
It was not my top choice but let me tell you...I was pleasantly surprised.
The story was very good. I loved the characters, both new and old. The special effects were great.
And of course my eye candy Johnny Depp aka Jack sparrow
(*ahem* Captain of course)
was looking as good as ever!!
I highly recommend the movie. And especially in 3D. I am not the biggest fan of 3D but this movie was done very well when it came to the timing and such.
It was a lovely weekend. I missed my baby girl. But she had a lot of fun with her grandparents at her cousins birthday party. A little toddler girl time was good for her.

One day life will become easier...right?

So I had met a man, things got serious (engagement!), and we decided that my daughter and I should move in with him.
(That is the very condensed version of the story.)
We both agreed I need a job before I moved out there. So I spoke with the father of my child and got the ok for the move. The job hunt began!
Well it took awhile but I got a job. Or at least it is a very high possibility. On top of it, its a great job opportunity. I go to the father, tell him and he returns with "I think we should go to court because I won't agree unless you either move back when she goes to school or give custody to me." My response "WTF."
I just didn't use short form when it actually came out.
I went home crying and so upset. I couldn't believe he would do that. Then when I calmed down I realized that it was exactly in character for him. He thinks he will never see her.
So I went to court and filed the proper papers.
He has this idea that I don't want him to see his daughter. That is not the case at all. You would all be so proud of my parenting plan I proposed.
I think one of the most upsetting parts is that I may have had that job. Well I got in contact with the company and they said that since I have a specific court date already in place that they may be able to work with me and hold the job to see if the move will be permitted!!
I needed that good news.
And on top of everything my car insurance went down almost $100.
How freakin awesome is that.
Hopefully the good news continues.

Let the Job hunt begin.

Now that I have the introduction out of the way I will fill you in on a little something...
I dislike job hunting!
I am currently dating a wonderful man and have decided to move my little girl and I in with him. This means though that a relocation is going to take place. Well I know that it would not be intelligent to move without a job in place (darn bills) so I have been searching...
and searching...
and searching...
...ugh...
The internet has truly been my best friend. I have had a couple interviews but to no avail. I do understand thought that most places want to give these jobs to locals since the job market is so rough out there.
No hard feelings.
Seriously...none *ahem*
What would be ideal is a work from home job! I could take care of my daughter and work at the same time. It would be amazing. Oh wait, work from home with a toddler?
Is that even possible? Hahaha!

Any ideas out there ladies?!

And so my newest journey begins...

Let me introduce myself.

I go by Pandora.
I am a single mother to a beautiful 19 month old little girl.
She is my world.
I work a job that I do not like so that I can provide for her. Yet what it has led to is her and I sharing a single bedroom in my parents home.
Do I like the situation? It has its positives such as the help and love of my parents. But I am almost 24 and have a child so it is not the ideal situation.
I have decided to make a change in my life for my daughter.
That is where this blog comes into play!
I am going to write about my hopes of making a better life for her and I.
My attempts at these hopes.
It will be interesting as I am the most indecisive person. But I will do my best to have a little fun along the way.
Along the way i will share my job hunting experiences, school reviews, and even the more fun clothing I love, movies I see, places I go, etc.
(A girl can't always be serious!)
So my friends...
Welcome to the Life of This Single Mom!
